For physical access control, Identive offers a wide range of credentials. The @MAXX® Light2 token, thanks to its contactless token functionality1), can also be used as highly secure contactless credentials and are therefore the perfect physical and logical access control convergence credential.

The @MAXX® Light2 token is CCID compliant. This means it can be used with standard CCID class drivers provided by the host OS manufacturer.
On Windows platforms, the Windows update functionality will automatically install the Identive drivers if you are connected to the Internet.

@MAXX® ID1

Mobile security under your control. For security demanding corporate environments, Identive offers a number of solutions, ranging from desktop smart card readers to mobile smart card readers that can be used with a variety of smart card-technology based credentials. The @MAXX ID-1 offers on board flash memory for mobile desktop applications and ID-1 sized smart card reader capabilities to users.

@MAXX ID-1 is a zero footprint device where no administrator rights on the host machine are required. The @MAXX ID-1 with its on board flash memory is the ideal choice for mobile users that need to carry with them a secure virtual desktop. The mobile reader can contain the digital identity of the user and the applications which make use of this digital identity. Depending on the type of smart card chosen, it is possible to use your @MAXX for logging on to your PC, signing and encrypting documents or emails, authenticating to secure web sites or your company’s virtual private network (VPN).

The @MAXX ID-1 supports CD-ROM emulation, flash memory and hidden partitions. Identive customers can create a CD ROM partition containing their software and have the possibility to upgrade this partition through an Identive SDK once the mobile readers are deployed.

@MAXX ID-1 mobile reader enable strong two-factor authentication with something you have – i.e. your @MAXX ID-1 mobile reader and a smart card  – and with something you know – i.e. your PIN code. Any smart card vendor can be used to supply the smart card you need to slot into your @MAXXID-1 mobile reader. Identive can also supply you with those cards.
